Dear Alums, Current Students, Parents, Widows/ers and Friends of Yale!
Join the Yale Club of South Texas and the Harvard Club of San Antonio at the Lion and the Rose Pub located at 700 E. Sonterra Blvd. on Saturday, Nov. 17th from 10:30-2:00 p.m.
The Lion & Rose (Sonterra) has a small private "Dungeon Room" with one large screen t.v. (not huge) and 20 other flat screen t.v.s throughout the bar that can relay the broadcast simultaneously. We will have to spread our cheer(s) throughout the bar as we mingle with our Harvard brethren.
The Game is at 11:00 a.m. but management agreed to let us in at 10:30 a.m. to rev up our engines. The Lion & Rose is a British-style pub with traditional pub food and drink. You do not need a ticket to get in and separate checks are allowed. However, because of the size of our party, wait staff will include an 18% gratuity on each bill. A little steep, but it's the price of admission.
